Poker has no explosions and no boss fight. The drama is entirely in the faces and the money, so a trailer has to build tension out of pacing rather than spectacle.

This one leans on the western setting and the rhythm of a hand being played, which gives the cut somewhere to go without pretending the game is something it is not.
